Atom Tigercats

After a setting a new team record for season wins by an Atom team for the organization, the Atom Tigercats will be ready to take the field in 2008 with new Head Coach George Knowlton . George takes over from last years Head Coach Dan Labanowich who moves up to take the post with the Peewee Tigercats this year. Many of last years Atom stars make the move to high school ball this year. 2007's Mr. Tigercat Muhammad Abdul Rashid moves on to Eastdale. Running mate Nathan Dallaire is going to CCSS. Starting QB Steve Courtney will be carrying his books and lunch pail all the way to Holy Tinity. With the graduation of a large number of last years players the team is still solid with the returning of the 'brothers Adey'. QB Riley Adey will have the opportunity to hook up time and again with wide-out brother Austin. After attending the outstanding 'Canallstar' camp this winter, last years rookie defender Johnny 'BadBoy'Taylor will be looking to snack on Dolphins and Hawkeyes on a regular basis. Linebacker Sean McLaughlin will be sharpening his skills in the Oshawa house league this spring getting ready to cause kaos around the league come August.
